Founded in 1946 in Germany as a lingerie manufacturer, it quickly stood out for its expertise portrayed in the success of the patented spring-wired corset.

By the end of the 70ies, the final phase-out of corsets shifted the group’s focus on swimwear, launching progressively 4 different brands; MARYAN MEHLHORN (1982), Lidea (1991), Charmline (1995) and watercult (1996).

Nowadays, the group plays a leading role in the swimwear industry, being Europe’s number one in sell-through and reaching up to 1.000. 000 pieces in production every year.

Every brand presents separate collections designed to cover an extensive customer base and all together, they share the same high manufacturing, design and fitting standards, offering special commercial value to every swimwear and beachwear collection.

All fabrics are designed and produced exclusively for every brand aiming to offer best quality and impeccable fit (eg. fabrics specially designed for MARYAN MEHLHORN and Charmline).

At the same time, all collections satisfy all types of fashion demands as well as different needs of body type – from support (eg. swimsuits with cups and moulded bikini tops) to coverage (tummy-control, adjustable briefs in height) and body shaping (shapewear design).

Lidea targets fit-oriented customers, launching every season designs from A to H cup divided in 3 levels of support, Light, Medium and Extra.

Specialized in shapewear, Charmline presents swimwear in three shape levels, Light, Medium and Strong, made from multiple prizewinning, slimming material.
